General Meetings, other upcoming events and important dates:
- 1st Monday of each month, General
Meeting, Voorheis Room (3rd Floor) The Battell Center,
Mishawaka from 7:00 to 8:00 PM Board meetings are held right
after.

Meetings are open to everyone, including non-members.
- The Popcorn Cluster is held at the
Porter Country Fairgrounds in Valparaiso, Indiana. This all
breed dog show is June 19 - June 22, 2008.

Saturday, sponsored by the Michiana KC. For more information,

2006 Income from the Straw Auction was donated to the AKC Canine
Health Foundation. 2007 is designated to be donated to the Take
The Lead Foundation.
- There is no July meeting.
- Annual picnic is held in
conjunction with August meeting.
It's time again for the annual
picnic it will be on August 4, 6:30 pm at Merrifield Park,
Mishawaka, IN “same place as last year”
MKC: will provide the meat (chicken), soft drinks, water and the
place settings
Members: are asked to bring a dish to pass
RSVP: Patty Gabbard (574) 271-7271 with number attending and dish
you will bring so she can order the chicken and hopefully get a
variety of side dishes and deserts
Patty would like to have everyone rsvp after Thursday 31st but
before Sunday August 3rd because she is in Las Vegas losing all
her family's money .
- Conformation classes are held each
Tuesday through the fall and winter at The Battell Center in
Mishawaka, IN at 7 PM. This is an excellent facility for
working your dog. The cost is $5 per person for members and $7
for non-members (no limit on dogs). Training class will be
starting up after Labor Day Tuesday September 9, 2008.
